Questions we hear before people join.
What if I join and don't use it?
If membership isn't a fit in the first 30 days, write to us at info@salttherapyassociation.org and we'll refund the year.
Is membership monthly or annual?
Membership is billed annually and renews each year, giving you full access to STA resources, research, and member benefits for the duration of your term.
Does it auto-renew?
Yes, with a 30-day reminder email before renewal so there are no surprises. Cancel from your member account at any time.
I'm not in the US. Does this apply to me?
Yes. The STA is international, with members across many countries. Most member resources are not geographic.
Can my whole team use one account?
Membership is per business for the Facility tier. We don't limit how many people at your studio use the resources, but the directory listing and account login is one per facility.
Is the Certified Halotherapist certification transferable to a new owner or staff member?
The Certified Halotherapist credential reflects the training and knowledge of the individual who earned it, so it stays with that person rather than transferring to a new owner or team member. We'd love to welcome anyone new to the program — they're encouraged to enroll and earn the certification in their own name.
